Michael A. Cavanaugh is a Principal at RCM Wealth Advisors, with responsibility for client relationships. He has 20 years of experience in the Financial services industry Through his experience, he has developed expertise in alternative investments, asset management, and a strong understanding of the relationship between the advisor and client.
Previous Experience and Education
He is on the Options Industry Council Advisor Leadership Council and Co-Founder of the Small Business Advocacy Council. He has served as the Vice-President of the Options Alliance and was a member of the Chicago Board of Trade. He is heavily engaged in various other non-for profit entities. He received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin- Masdison.
Specific Work Responsibilites
At RCM, he is responsible for Small Business Retirement Planning. He works mostly with corporate clients at RCM, and also manages key aspects of the RCM sales process.
Validation of Responsibility
Under his guidance RCM’s corporate benefits division has grown into a robust service that assists over 3,000 employees with their retirement investments. The Corporate Benefits division started in January of 2013 and has been managed by him up to this point.
