Ed Cheatham is a Retirement Specialist and Financial Advisor at RCM Wealth Advisors and brings over 25 years of experience in the Financial Services industry. On the corporate level, Ed provides plan sponsors fiduciary support for their retirement plans and helps them develop executive benefit solutions to recruit, retain, reward and retire key people.
Previous Experience and Education
As a member of both the Chicago Board of Trade and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Ed serviced both highly capitalized individuals and institutional entities in the 30-year bond and Eurodollar Options pits. After leaving the floor, Ed was an Investment Advisor at Principal Financial Group and Wunderlich Securities. He graduated from Drake University in 1987 with a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration
Specific Work Responsibilities
Ed’s main responsibility is to build relationships that will last a lifetime. Every client is unique and by utilizing RCM’s vast resources, Ed is able to address the client’s concerns and create solutions specifically designed for them.
Expectations with corporate clients should be no less. Through RCM’s Corporate Benefits division, Ed is strongly positioned to provide qualified and non-qualified plan solutions. He also advises on creating executive benefit plans that will help find and keep great people.
Finally, with Ed’s background in the Alternatives Investment space and RCM’s Alternatives division, he has the knowledge and connectivity to recommend managers that will truly diversify his clients’ portfolios. The ability for capital introduction of CTAs exists as well.
